President Trump's campaign sent Senator Kamala Harris a ticket for Wednesday night's vice presidential debate reserved for Tupac Shakur, since Sen.  Harris (D-Calif.) had recently made a comment that Tupac was "her favorite rapper alive."

"We have left a ticket for Tupac Shakur," according to Trump's senior campaign adviser Jason Miller who reportedly told this to the press on a call Wednesday.

Miller said "I'm personally more of a Biggie fan...but if Shakur is still alive... we will have a ticket for Tupac." (Source The Hill).

The Trump campaign's communications director Tim Murtaugh, responded to Amber Athey's tweet that it was "not a joke".

The video below shows the interview where Kamala Harris expressed that Tupac was her "favorite rapper alive". This just adds more fuel to the fire for many 2Pac fans who still to this day believe that 2Pac is alive.

As silly as this may seem to the unaware, in fact Tupac Shakur has been influencing every presidential race since Bill Clinton in 1996. In the Vibe's Lost Interview (below) Tupac said "I want to read what Clinton reads, because he does the same shit I do but doesn't get in trouble for it... all his homeboys commit suicide, he gets caught in the bathroom with his pants down, and this *** is still the President.. I'm 24 he's 40 what's his excuse?" Pac's reading list includes Mastering the Art of War, Thoughts of a General, The Buying of a President.

I wrote in 2007 in my master's thesis tat Drah Cenedive pointed out in the original volume of 2Pac Lives, that Karen Murphy-Smith had stated that:

“On Tuesday, November 5, 1996, Death Row Records released the first and only recording at midnight many fans [in Atlanta] and around the country waited in lines outside of music stores in order to secure a copy of the much anticipated “Makveli the Don Killuminati The 7 Day Theory” recording. It’s ironic that on that same day that millions casted ballots for the President millions more were casting votes__________________*for Makaveli*.”

How about when Barack Obama roasted Donald Trump at the White House Correspondence Dinner saying "Donald can really get back to focusing on the issues that matter like Where is Biggie and Tupac?" According to Inside Edition this was the night that Donald Trump decided to run for president. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1845549989007327

Or how about when the CIA under Obama's administration tweeted that they had lost Tupac's trail?

The common thread and re occurring them here is that Tupac has consistently been the voice of the people and the "go to" for politicians looking to fan flames or drum up some interests. This is why Tupac's principles and legacy still guide and inform so many people in their interpretation of the political, social and cultural spaces that Hip Hop continues to occupy!!
